AngelBox is not a traditional baby bank
It is a proven, structured support system developed in London and now being expanded across the Middle East and North Africa to help families prepare for the arrival of a baby with dignity, confidence and essential support.
Too many families across the MENA region are preparing for a baby without access to the basic essentials every child deserves.
About Us
Basch Helps MENA was established following the significant success of Basch Helps CIC in London, United Kingdom, where our volunteer-led community enterprise has supported thousands of newborns, toddlers and parents through our AngelBox programme.
Over the past several years, we have witnessed first-hand the growing challenges families face when preparing for a new baby. Rising living costs, displacement, economic uncertainty and limited access to support services continue to place enormous pressure on many families throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
Recognising these challenges, we are expanding our proven London framework into the MENA region, bringing the same structured, accountable and compassionate support model to communities where the need is substantial and growing.
Through AngelBox MENA, we aim to provide essential baby items, practical support and accessible pathways to assistance, ensuring newborns have a safer and healthier start in life regardless of circumstance.

Our NHS Health Equity Award
On Tuesday 24 October 2023, more than 200 people from across NW London gathered in St Pauls, Hammersmith for the first health equity summit for the area. One year on from the launch of the region’s inequality strategy, it was a chance to reflect on what had been achieved and discuss the challenges ahead.
The summit closed with the presentation of the first North West London Health Equity Awards. These awards celebrate people from across NW London who are doing their bit in understanding, and tackling, the barriers that create inequalities and can prevent fair access to health care.
We were delighted at the phenomenal response, not just the 85 nominations, but the passion and kindness within the nominations. There are alot of people working and volunteering across NW London to make life better for others, as well as the eagerness of people across the system to nominate others.

OVER THE PAST THREE YEARS, BASCH HELPS CIC HAS REALLY PUSHED THE BOUNDARIES OF COMMUNITY SERVICE AND OUR ANGELBOX HAS NOW BENEFITED 1000’s OF FAMILIES ACROSS GREATER LONDON AND DESPITE BEING ONE OF THE SMALLEST ORGANISATIONS IN LONDON, OUR BIG HEART & ASPIRATIONS HAS ALLOWED US TO CONTINUOUSLY EVOLVE OUR OPERATIONS, OUR DRIVE FOR TRANSPARENCY & OPEN COMMUNICATION WITH ALL OUR STAKEHOLDERS AND THE WAY OUR ADMIRABLE STAFF PASSIONATELY SUPPORT PARENTS AND THEIR NEWBORNS ON A DAILY BASIS.
